As the fast development of the science and technology and the regards of structure security monitoring, the long-term health monitoring of them gets more and more attention. Vibration measurement is a key part in the structure health diagnosis and inspection, therefore, the requirement for the study of vibration measurement and data acquisition and analysis becomes larger and larger. This paper is to analyze the vibration measurement and data acquisition technology. Then under the framework of the VI, realize the whole vibration measurement of FBG.First, the theory of the FBG sensor is made clear, and the model of the FBG vibration sensor is put forward according to the sensor theory and vibration principle which can transform the outside vibration signal to the high precise light-wave signal. Then the existing methods and technologies of light's demodulation are compared, and a proper way to inspect the micro-shift of the light-wave is choose.After the concept of virtual instrument is described, the key part of the VI, the data acquisition technology is studied deeply. The principle of the existing data acquisition cards is analyzed, and then the proper card is selected to build the hardware platform according to the practical requirement. A proper program scheme is selected, and the double buffer technology is used for high speed and large capability dada acquisition to cope with the problem that a continuous large memory is difficult to apply in windows operating system. The software reuse theory is discussed deeply, and based the theory, the data acquisition software designed and the module is encapsulated for general use and transplantation.Finally, the FBG vibration measurement software is realized in the Windows system with three kinds of data acquisition as well as the graphic display, data online storage. The system is tested and the result is desirable.
