The paper primarily researches a kind of nonlinearity of fiber -the effect of SRS(Stimulated Raman Scattering) to WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system and the gain and noise properties of Fiber Raman Amplification exploited with SRS. Firstly, the paper deduces nonlinear transmission equation based on Optical theory, makes it generalized and obtains nonlinear transmission equation synthetically taking account into all kinds of nonlinearity. Then, the paper uses it to research the effect of SRS to WDM. In term of the probability of communication system and perturbance theory, the model of the effect of SRS to error bit ratio in communication system is established. Through the way numerical of simulation , limitations to SRS to error bit ration of communication system and input Optical power, the number of channel etc are discussed. The obtained conclusion has definitely reference value to the design of practical communication. To accelerate the development of next generation high DWDM system, the paper also researches the property of gain. Based on Optical wave nonlinear transmission equation, the gain model of FRA is established .By the way of numerical analysis, it is obtained that the gain of FRA has relation with pump power, input signal wave power, the effective area and absorption of fiber. The obtained conclusion has definite instruction to the design of FRA. At last, in term of the property of wide band of FRA, the interference between channels of multi-channel amplification system is discussed. In multi-channel system, the relations between signal-interference ratio and input signal wave power, between signal-interference ratio and the number of channel and between signal-interference ratio and gain of FRA have be discussed. The way ofrestraining the interference is produced.
