As the Internet spread widely and rapidly in recent years, Electronic Commerce with the advantage of high-efficiency and low lost becomes the rising managing model step by step. It is involved in the Bank, the foreign trade, and the securities business even in our daily shopping. The huge population and the convenience of its open architecture make the intenet a promising marketplace, especially in 21'st Century which the global contact becomes closer and closer, which in turn causes the fabulous development of electronic commerce. Nevertheless the electronic commerce is permeated with opportunity and challenge, the challenge comes from the dependence on the security technology. In the process of trade in the open Internet, how to ensure the security of the data transfers and how to maintain the fairness are the most important factors, which determine whether or not the electronic commerce gets popularity. My thesis just based on above to expand in many fileds.Presently, there are three payment modes in the trade orders: credit card, electro-cheque, and ecash. According to the different payment modes protocols are divided into three kinds: payment protocol based on credit card; payment protocol based on electro-cheque and payment protocol based on ecash. In the payment protocol based on credit card, the payment basal establishment based on credit must be used, and the issued institution must authenticate the validity of the credit card, and the anonymity of the payment cannot be afforded. In the payment protocol based on electro-cheque, the payment implement is the electro-cheque. The payment protocol based onelectro-cheque is similar to the payment protocol based on credit card, in which the issued bank must authenticate the validity of electro-cheque. Ecash is the self-authenticated symbol that is independent from issued bank. In the payment protocol based on Ecash, the anonymity of the payment can be achieved by blind signature. In the three protocols above, to the micropayment in the Internet, especially to the payment of the information production with the small sum, the micropayment protocol based on Ecash has the advantage in the cost of the payment.In my thesis, author firstly sketch the current research on micropayment status at homeland and abroad, introduce meaning of paper and some theory support to paper. Following, we analyse the Characteristics of the current micropayment protocol, especially to the MilliCent micropayment model is particularly discussed. The MilliCent micropayment model has the advantages such as the off-line payment, off-line verification, and high- efficiency, whereas it has some defects that cannot satisfy the fairness and the atomicity. We proposed a micropayment system with the performance of fairness and the atomicity based the MilliCent system.Then, the enhanced micropayment system is compared and analysised with the MilliCent system.we showed the effective performance of the enhanced micropayment system model, which is compared with the performance of other payment models.At last, there are some conclusions and prospect.
