Maglev, regarded as a "Green" means of transportation of 21st century, has many remarkable advantages such as comfortable riding, high speed, good environmental adaptability, flexibility and nonpolluting, etc.Compared with traditional railway train, Maglev is running above the track. Therefore, velocity measurement and orientation technology is undoubtedly critical. Present research work in velocity measurement and orientation at home and abroad is largely identical but with minor difference. Although great efforts in research including different project and actualization have been devoted to the velocity measurement and orientation technology since the start, now the technology in our country has not achieved the degree throwing it into business using. The determining absolute position system of maglev train is one of the most important parts to realize throwing maglev train into business using, it is the technology that must be mastered. The thesis aims to do some fundamental work in this domain.This thesis uses the method of pulse coding to design The determining absolute position system of maglev train and mainly includes four aspects as following:Firstly, the purpose of using the locating system of maglev train is discussed. The principle and characteristics of the locating system of maglev train is detailedly introduced and analyzed. All kinds of methods for maglev locating and speed measuring are classified, compared with each other.Secondly, on the base of the theory of electromagnetic field, studying the electromagnetic field of the sensor detailedly and then offering the theoretical warranty to confirm the correlative parameters of the sensor.Thirdly, designing the specific circuits of the system's signal sending unit and signal receiving, processing unit.At last, explicating how use the EMP7128 CPLD and PSD3234 single chip microcomputer to collect, process data and communicate.
