The article mainly describes some researches on Charge Coupled Device(CCD) and its noise. As we all know, with the development of the Charge Coupled Device, the application field of CCD is enlarging, the noise of CCD become an obstacle which hinders the development of CCD. The noise is a major parameter of CCD which determine the signal to noise. Consequently, we research carefully on how to reduce the noise of CCD.We expatiate on the theory of CCD from the physical base and point out the different theory of CCD engendering noise. We describe the mathematic model of CCD output noise by correlation theory and analyze the noise quantificationally, it gives the correlation conditions. At these bases, we discuss the Correlated Double Sampling elaborately. At the same time, we analyze and contrast a few current methods of restrain noise. Further more we analyze these methods respectively in theory. Contemporary it points out the merits and demerits of these methods respectively. At the same time, it presents the applied areas to each method.We present a new method of CDS because of the shortcoming in the current methods, that is, the metheod which based on commuted band-pass filter. We analyze the new method from white noise and 1/f noise and design the mathematic model. The model is close to practice because of the dynamic character.We discover a new method to reduce the noise of CCD which is better than the current methods in stability, cost and interfacing with the A/D converters. All of these is a useful experiment for reduction noise of CCD, it will improve the signal to noise of CCD.
