Design And Implement Of Intrusion Detection System In Network Security

Intrusion detection in network security is identifying and responding for the hostile behavior to computer system resource and network resource. Intrusion detection system in network security is new network security technology in recent years, which also is a important network security tool. It can real-time detect for system and network resource, and find attacker of system and computer network . It also can prevent legal user from wrong operation.First this paper introduces and analyses the relationship and importance between information security with network security .security imperiling, hacker' s intrusion procedure and security hole in computer system and networks. Then this paper simply introduces status of intrusion detection system , and compares two different intrusion detection systems. Last this paper brings forward a new intrusion detection system which combines one based on hosts with the other one based on network. With the developing process of fact project, this paper mainly introduces the idea in the design and key technology in the implement of intrusion detection system in network security.The design and implement of intrusion detecting engine in intrusion detection system is the core part of this paper . This intrusion detection system have two intrusion detection engines: abnormity detecting engine based on statistical method , characteristic mood matching detection engine based on attacking mood database .This paper also introduces the design and key implement technology of other part of the intrusion detection system including audit data collecting , network data collecting, attacking mood database, alarming and responding and information issuing.
