Recently robot vision system has received considerable attention owing to advanced technologies of intelligent robot, and it has been applied to many fields. In this paper, the key task in the field of robot vision is to guide the pose and movement of a mobile robot based on vision information.In the paper, a navigation system of intelligent mobile robot based on vision information has been designed, which includes robot control system and vision system. We studied the basic arithmetic of image processing, and designed image processing software. And based on the perspective mapping, we have got the arithmetic of inverse perspective mapping, which realizes getting the depth of the object through the single camera. So, a path planning and navigation arithmetic based on vision information has been realized. And communication in the two different platform, Linux and Windows, has been realized too. So the robot can get the environment information from unknown environment through the single camera, and realize the path planning.In the paper, we has simulated and experimented on the outcome of study, and get the satisfied experiment result, and proved the efficiency of arithmetic of the mobile robot's navigation and avoiding obstacle through the single camera.
