The topic of this paper is very old and very new .With the development of electronic technology,fault detecting application is becoming more and more important in electronic devices,especially in the complicate large Radar;We also know that simulation is a powerful tool in analyzing electronic circuit. In order to solve the problem how to get expert knowledge and how to detect fault,a new settlement is presented in this paper,which is based on simulation.In the beginning of this paper,the writer introduces some conception of conventional expert systems,and analyzes its localization or disadvantage. According to the special of electronic devices,artificial intelligent fault detecting system of a certain Radar based on simulation is put forward;the paper gives the detail of the top bottom design for an example,and gives the solution for remote diagnosing in internet.The body contains such as building of simulation model,fault class,fault being poured,and running algorithm of simulation. It explains how to building expert system with a neural network,virtual instrument and fuzzy cluster algorithm.At the last of the paper,the write shows an example of the development for such a system. It tells how to design and build the database of expert knowledge,how to deal with fault dictionary and how to program with simulation algorithm.
