Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) communication technology has a lot of good properties in wireless communication field. It not only has many good capability of anti jam, but also has a certain capability of anti detect. So it is kept as a secret technology by the military for many years. But now many of wireless LAN apply the DSSS technology. In the military field, such as remote sensing, remote control, telemetry and so on, they all apply the DSSS technology. The digital DSSS processor is a key device in the DSSS communication system.This thesis discussed the structure of the digital DSSS processor. Based on it, presents the former ASIC design of data acquisition,synchronization and despread of its reveiver. In the course of design, SYNPLIFY of SYNPLICITY CO. is applied as synthesizing tool of the design, MAXPLUS II of ALTERA CO. is applied as placing and routing tool, MODELSIM of MENTOR CO. is applied as the simulation tool. The effect of the time sequence net simulation of the circuit indicate the correctness of the circuit design.
