AC-transmission has the advantage of big starting strength,great continuous power and perfect power area,so a large amount of AC-transmission locomotives have been invested in rail system,with tendency of replacing AC-transmission locomotives. The principle of AC-DC-AC locomotive is that transformer transforms the high single-phase AC voltage from contact system to lower AC voltage first,then rectifier transforms this AC voltage to steady DC voltage,finally converter transforms this DC voltage to three-phase VFVV AC voltage as the voltage source for asynchronous machine.Generally,in view of the manufacturing cost and experiment safety,the design of locomotive adopts the method of emulation in advance. This thesis demonstrates a "AC-DC-AC locomotive emulation experiment platform " system,which is used to simulate behaving environment of locomotive system in several control circumstance and obtain kinds of performance parameters,so it contributes to the design of locomotive. To user-computer interaction,this thesis devises corresponding graphical user interfaces,so users can configure various modules' and controllers/ parameters with knowing little about the details of this emulation system. Besides,when this emulation system is running,users can qualitatively watch waves and quantitatively acquire data directly,so this emulation is also suitable for staff training and simulation teaching in locomotive factories.This thesis covers:First,description principle about locomotive,such as t four-phase rectifier and control theory,machine flux and torque models,the manner of controlling machine and so on.Second,the construction of AC-DC-AC locomotive emulation system,which contains introduction of main constitutional models,specific implement of special models,etc.Third,testifying this emulation system,which contains wave analysis,data analysis,comparing to data from real locomotive,etc.Finally,the design and implement of emulation interface including common skill in devising user interface with programming language Matlab,detailed user interface implement of this emulation system,the testing and usage,etc.
