The Research On Facility Condition-Based Maintenance And Sensor Fault Diagnosis Technology

With the wide application of automatic control system and fault diagnosis system, the validation of the measured sensor data has been becoming more important, so the fault diagnosis for sensor has been becoming very significant and of great value for further research.This paper describes the relationship between condition-based maintenance and fault diagnosis, and analyzes the necessity of fault diagnosis for sensors from the aspect of facility condition-based maintenance. Many simulation studies are made to illustrate the effectiveness of both the model-based method and the method based on neural network for sensor fault diagnosis respectively, and thus these provide important information for sensor condition diagnosis.
