Researchs On The Development Of Color Inkjet Plotter Controller

This paper gives a detailed introduction to the construction and principle of the controller of color inkjet plotter, upon which the hardware and software design to meet the needs of the engineering practice in three print modes is presented in order to satisfy the technological demand of large-format in this project. During the research and the procedure of final realization the whole plotter system such technological problems as data transmission in large quantity and at great speed, parsing, recombination, and the control of the printing procedure have been solved. The routine that special chips are adopted in the design is avoided while the same goal of data processing at high speed has been gained by the distributed system which consists of general and cheap PC and SCM. The testing result shows that the whole plotter system is of high reliability and practicability. The research and practice of this paper possess certain practical significance and referential value in promoting the developing domestic color inkjet plotter.
