The technology of Large Space Mesh Antenna Reflector Precision Control intends to ensure the performance of antenna at orbit. And one of the keys to design an active control system is the optimal placement of actuators/sensors, which directly influences the performances and effects of the control system. Now, the study on this problem still stays at the level of theory and experiment research.Based on the completely synthesizing the available research results, the optimization of actuators/sensors placement and feedback gains of the H~. control system at orbit for Large Space Mesh Antenna Reflector is dealed with deeply and systemically for the first time. Firstly, considered both the energy principle and H~ robust performance request, a double-targets performance function is given included two sets of parameters of controller gains and actuators/sensors placements, this is a kind of simultaneously optimizing method. Secondly, many kinds of algorithms for compounding parameters optimal problem are studied, and then a developed float-encoding algorithm is used to calculate the globe optimal answers of this double-targets performance function. At last, a model example is calculated with the above mentioned method. The result shows both the optimal method and algorithm introduced in this paper is effective and credible.
