The Research On The Algorithms Of Intrusion Detection

The technology of Intrusion Detection is presented under the situation that traditional security strategies are incapable of satisfying ever increasingly rigorous demand. Its emergence brings new vitality to the research of computer security. On the basis of domestic and oversea research on Intrusion Detection, this dissertation summarizes and analyzes the present technical status of Intrusion Detection. For the systematism and continuity of this research, extensive technique domains are involved in the content. First, an introduction of fundamental theory of Intrusion Detection, including principles of Intrusion and Intrusion Detection, basal definition, classification and model of Intrusion Detection System, is given in this paper. And emphases are laid on discussing various technique details of Intrusion Detection System. Second, the algorithms of Intrusion Detection, including their principles, technique details applied in Intrusion Detection, their virtues and weakness, are discussed and analyzed. A concrete implementation of Intrusion Detection system in network circumstance, as a kernel content, is presented on basis of what are described above. A distributed framework of Intrusion Detection system based on protocol analysis is adopted in high-speed and broadband network, and its obvious advantages are shown.In conclusion, as a foundation, this dissertation provides essential principles and techniques of Intrusion Detection system to further research.
