The Implementation Of Baseband Part Of Wireless Modem Based On DSP

With the more and more use of Wireless LAN, the technique of Wireless MODEM has been developed. In this paper, a scheme of Wireless MODEM based on TMS320C5402 chip and PRISM2 chips is introduced. The design of hardware platform and the protocol of the Point-to-Point system are discussed. The theory of Direct sequence and CCK is described. The mechanism of TDM is established. Then, a method to maintain the synchronization of the TDM is proposed. In this method, data frames and characteristic of TMS320C5402 chip are used. The implementation of the Convolutional Code is also discussed in this paper. Finally, the flow chart of the algorithms of the system is described.
