The echo of targets is usually under strong background of clutters. Radar's task is to detect targets and measure targets' parameters, so clutter suppression is a very important part of radar signal processing and its performance can directly affect the results of following process steps. For clutters with stationary power spectrum, using cancellers whose unvarying weight fit in with the properties of clutter power spectrum will get satisfactory result. For clutters with time-varying power spectrum, the adaptive clutter suppression method is the appropriate, which firstly estimate the real-time estimate the clutters' power spectrum and then adjust the value of weight based on the estimation. In this paper we firstly introduced the property and model of clutter and summarize the clutter suppression method ,then a discussion will be given on the principle for fixed weight canceller to cancel ground clutter together with the appearance and solve method of blind phase and blind speed. The performance Comparison, analysis and simulation of recursive and non-recursive canceller will be given. We also have done a lot of work on the detailed analysis, comparison and performance simulation of adaptive clutter suppression arithmetic. In addition, We put forward the physical meaning of eigenvector filtration and optimization filtration. Especially, we made a sufficient discuss on eigenvector filtration in the point of signal subspace and clutter subspace. A detailed prove is also given which is on the relations between eigenvectors of a signal d 's self-correlation array and the one-another vertical unit vectors d, which form the signal together with that between eigenvalue and the unit vectors' coefficient. Finally we discussed the MTI and MTD implement scheme combined with the research of a radar guidance station signal processor. Several key problems about channels'phases have also been analyzed and researched.
