The Smart antennas system (SAS) has become one of the key techniques of the Third Generation Mobil Communication Systems (3G) for its advantages on MAI interference suppression by using spatial information. It can remarkably improve the performance and the capacity of communication systems (TDMA, FDMA and CDMA). When the core of smart antenna is signal processing, the research on theory and algorithm are being done universally. Research on test-bed is comparatively urgent. We have studied some key issues of test-bed of smart antenna and performed several experiments.In this dissertation, we deeply discussed some problems on the implement of the test-bed of the smart antennas and designed each part of the system. We have constructed such a system and got some data from the real environment. Our test-bed of smart antennas system are presented hi detail and its data processing are given in the dissertation.Obviously, it is important to implement a test-bed of smart antenna. Using test-bed system, we can validate all methods in this field and evaluate algorithms and we can also study the wireless channel.
