The Study And Implementation Of The Advanced Application Interface Of The Spatial Database Engine

On the base of the distributed GIS--oriented Spatial Database Model, ThispaPer discusses how to provide for the GIS Spatial Database Engine an advancedapplication interface. This interface organizes and manages the geometric datafrom Spatial Database and provides fOr GIS developers the approach to usedirectly the Object of the GIS aPplications, such as the Map object, the Layerobject and the Feature object, etc. This interface is open to any spatial databasesystem based on the OpenGIS SPecification. The component of this interface maybe used fOr the integration of GIS and support the developing of theinternet-oriented components GIS software.
