Research On Network Management Technology Of Position Location Reporting System

Position Location Reporting System (PLRS) is an integrated tactic system, which accomplishes position location, navigation, communication and identification capabilities. Network management is the "erve center" of that system. In this paper, main functions, performance specification and basic principle of PLRS are presented at first. Then, the scheme of central and adaptive network management of PLRS is discussed comprehensively, in which network architecture and basic protocol are designed, methods and processes of all functions are described in detail, and reasonable and effective algorithms of route selection and time slot assignment are provided. Finally, the basic design concept and main framework of software flow chart for the master station network management software is given. The network management software designed according to this scheme was applied to the demo system during the ninth-five years plan of our country. All functions in network management are realized and anticipated performance is reached. Some conceptions, methods and algorithms mentioned in this paper are innovative, that have significance in theory and practice.
