This thesis summarizes basic procedure of atmosphere radiative transmission.Based on transmission theory, some useful methods are studied for radiativetransmission question, such as discrete-ordinate method(DISORT), multi-flux methodMonte-Carlo method and LOWTRAN7.At first, discrete-ordinate method, multi-fluxmethod and Monte-Carlo method for single-layered media are introduced and the resultsof these methods are compared. Then discrete-ordinate method in multi-layered mediais introduced. And Monte-Carlo method for single-layered is developed for multi-layered media, which is proved to be accurate. The effect of particle size parameter onanisotropy property of scattering is discussed and the range of DISORT is estimated. The study of atmosphere spectrum radiative transmission and scattering is a part of"infrared characteristic collecting and modeling of representative martial target" thatplays an important role in the development of the national defense and economy.Radiant basic knowledge is introduced. Radiant property is calculated by DISORTand LOWTRAN7. Cloud and rain attenuation in atmosphere slant path is computed.Radiance of sun, sky and earth background is analyzed. Based on rough surface theory, the results of scattering and reflection of target by sun, sky and earth background areobtained in some meteorological conditions. The software version 1.0 is developed forcomputing atmosphere transmittance by Lowtran7 program, which has good man-machine interface.
