| Access network is a hotspot in network technology now. In order to provide broadbandconnection of end to end, it is necessary to widen the bandwidth of access network.Broadband access involves many technologies. FTTH ... xDSL ... HFC are main accesstechnologies. The FTTH is the final aim, the last two has different characteristic. In this paper,.the emphases are the main technologies of HFC膇nternational standard~ MAC~. return pathnoise and S-CDMA cable modem etc. Some problems on the construct of HFC are discussed,and suitable broadband access network technology in our country is provided.
