The Design Of The PC Cluster System Based On Cube

Cluster system has been one of main branch of parallel processing. Its application range is expansion and is enlarging on and on. The basic conception, definition, classification, system architecture, the key technology and advantages are introduced by this paper. The goal of this system is performance, availability and scalability. The T3桺Ccluster is based on the model group and designed by three PCs based on T3桺C.T3桺C is based on share memory interface and PCI bus. This is tight couple structure. This system抯 operating system is LINUX. This paper discuss the main technology under this structure, including: (1) The designing of communication interface; (2) The designing of availability, including system reconfiguration, saving and restoring of system抯 status, fault抯 checking; (3) The designing of single system image; (4) The designing of job management strategy, adopting two條evel schedule algorithm.
