With the rapid development of the world communication service, wireless mobilecommunication technology regarded as future personal communication main means makes us paymuch attention to. How to eliminate the CCJ, MA! and multipath fading becomes the essentialfactors conside~d when ~ve impmve the system perfomiance of wireless mobile communication.Smart antennas use the digital signal pmcessing technologies to pmduce spatial and directionalbeam, then let the antenna's main beam point to the coming direction of reference user and the sidelobe point to the coming direction of interference user. Compared with other mature interferenceelimination technologies, the application of smart antenna technology in mobile communicationshows its tremendous potential.The main contents in this paper are:1. Summarize the pmgress of the mobile communication system and some technologies ofthe Thin! Generation Mobile Communication System.2.
