The Research And Lmplementation Of Color Segmentation Of Colorized Relief Map

The project is put forward as a response to the scanner customers to promote the efficiency by implementing the automation on the DRG(Digital Raster Graph) project. A research and development on the .color segmentation to colorized maps is carried out. After analyzing and investigating the relative theory about color segmentation. pointing to the particular characteristics about colorized maps, we find t~iat traditional color segmentation theory has limitation on the color segmentation to colorized maps, and then put forward a new color segmentation algorithm to the colorized maps. Utilizing the phenomenon that human抯 eyes could recognize colorized maps rapidly and automatically, it puts forward a kind of adaptive 3 dimensional segmentation method which is based on the CIELa*b* even color space and has attained better effects. After improvement, utilizing the human mutual way, it has realized rapid and effective map抯 color segmentation and satisfied the user抯. All algorithms involved are implemented 慽n the form of the plug-in of Photoshop, which simplifies the development process.
