A Study Of Intercommunication, QoS And Accounting On IP Phone System

Started with the base structure and communication principals of IP phone, this paper analyze the corresponding International standard of IP phone including H.323, H.225.O, RTP/RTCP and RADIUS, then conclude the development progress of IP phone and give prediction on its future.This paper is composed of three different fields of IP Phone. The first is intercommunication. With the purpose of solving communication between administrative domains, we study and develop an address resolution arithmetic, according to recommendation H.225.O. The second is QoS research on IP phone. We refer to many methods studied in other papers, then bring forward a congestion avoid and control scheme based on end to end. A dynamic queue management also is suggested in recever to improve the QoS of IP phone. A result of simulation is included. The last field concerns with accounting of IP phone. We design a common accouting process according with RADIUS.In the end, we conclude our works, and look into the future.
