With the development of network, the traditionary TCP/IP congestion control mechanisms don't deal with the varied network applications and network model. The present network congestion control mechanism face many challenges, need to be modified largely to adapt the requirement of new network technologies; on the other hand, the requirement of compatibility-back don't abandon the architecture of present protocols; Thirdly, the present congestion control algorithms perform very poorly in new high bandwidth–delay network or wireless network; Lastly, when many flows of various network applications exist concurrently, behaviors that they aggrieve each other make the whole network perform poorly. To deal with the new network development, so, research about how to modify the present congestion control algorithm is most significant.The present congestion control algorithm is the basics of TCP congestion control. Analyzing the classical congestion control algorithms and the various TCP being deployed, this article compare some adapted TCP congestion control algorithms performing well in high bandwidth-delay networks or wireless networks by network simulation experiments.According to the properties of different type of data flows, this paper present the System of TCP Congestion Control Based on Receiver Applications, which is comprised of four subsystems: Target Rate Alloction Subsystem, Flow Control Subsystem, Data Flow Calculate Subsystem, Data Flow Classify Subsystem. The system is based on the strategies that modify the window size and ACK delay of receiver'application, which can decrease the congestion of different flows.By the simulation experiments, this article compares and analyses the delay and throughtout in different environment that use and doesnot use the strategy. The resulting shows the system can separate the different traffics, decresase the congestion and violation of different, satisify the user expection of different application.
