Affiliation motivation is an important component element of motivation study in psychology. It has great effect on people's work, study, life and the whole society's development. Because there are a few studies about the affiliation motivation in China so this study choose the middle school and primary school teacher as the research partner. We analysis and investigate the present situation of middle school and primary school teachers' affiliation motivation in China, and we try to analysis the correlation between the teachers' affiliation motivation and their self well-being.Based on analyzing and summarizing to foreign literatures about affiliation motivation, the definition of affiliation motivation is definite and its model with three factors is constructed. They are personal communication tendency, personal cooperation tendency, self protection tendency. Based on the three factors we make up the middle school and primary school teacher's affiliation motivation questionnaire, then we do some correlation study about the present situation and it's influence factors.662 testers in this research are abstracted by random sampling from 15 middle schools and primary schools in Chongqing and Sichuan, including schools both in city and in the countryside, the main conclusions of the research are as follows.(1) In this research, we make up the middle school and primary school affiliation questionnaire. It has better reliability and validity, which accord with the requirement of metric method. It has sound model and can be used to study the middle school and primary school teachers' affiliation motivation in the future.(2) The general level about middle school land primary school teachers' affiliation motivation is high. Sex, age and marriage have little effect on teachers' affiliation motivation.(3) The middle school and primary school teachers' economic condition have great effect on their affiliation motivation, the effect are significant different, the teachers with middle economic condition show out more cooperation tendency than the other teachers. The teachers in the countryside show more personal communication than teachers in the city. The school geographical position can significant predict the teachers' personal cooperation tendency.(4) High school teachers'affiliation motivation is the highest, primary school teachers' affiliation motivation are in the middle level. The junior school teachers' affiliation motivation is the lowest.(5) The middle school and primary school teacher's affiliation motivation are not correlated significant with the teachers' self well-being.(6) If the teachers are more vigorous, have pleasant feeling and self well-being, they may have more personal communication tendency. If the teachers are vigorous and have pleasant feeling, they may have high affiliation motivation.(7) If teachers have good controlling about their emotion and related behavior, they may have more well-being, they will not have the feeling of lonely, scared and they won't be afraid to be refused by others in their life. Their quality of life will be better. Sad or pleasant feeling can predict the teacher's affiliation motivation and their personal communication tendency.
