Orienteering has been rapid development in China, more and more people are engaged in the health, wisdom, and challenging the sport. Competition athletes how to adjust the physical limits of the state appears, and self-restraint is a daily focus on strengthening the content of training needs.3, orienteering specific physical training methods and middle-distance track and field has a certain amount of convergence, such as the basic qualities are based on endurance-type training, the main pre-training, orienteering middle-distance track and field training available methods, but in training should pay special emphasize irregular varied pace, because the actual orienteering competitions among athletes when they will encounter obstacles, when it can high-speed running is unpredictable, so in a non-regular training varied pace training, mainly to be the wild, comprehensive training to enhance the special physical qualities orienteering athletes.4, orienteering race there is no fixed line, the standard venues, training methods vary greatly, it is not simply that the special physical training orienteering is a middle-distance race training. Middle-distance athletes in full accordance with the method of training is to develop not good orienteering athletes. Focus on the culture-oriented "sense of rhythm" in a different terrain running different ways, but in a variety of terrain to run on the law should have its own rule. The rational use of speed interval run, not the law of varied pace, buildup and other methods. Therefore, pay special attention to varied pace in training capabilities.
