Survey And Thinking On The Employment Trench Of The Students Graduated From The Music Education Department Of China Conservatory In Year 2004 To 2009

Since enlarging enrollment from 1999, the students graduated from the universities and colleges have increased rapidly, which caused an increasing pressure on the job market, and their opportunities of obtaining employment are more difficulty. This problem has attracted the concern of the whole society. The music education graduate students are normally engaged in professional music teaching in schools. Recently, due to limited job requirements, combined with an effect of relatively narrow career range, saturated channel of professional employment and many other factors, the music education graduate students for the first time to enter the job market are born a great psychological pressure.Therefore, the paper analyzed statistically the information, which is collected from the employment trench survey of the graduate students in 2004-2009 terms from the Music Education Deportment of the China Conservatory, in term of employment trench, career-building ideas and education teaching suggestion. Based on the analysis, the employment issues of music education graduates are drawn out, which include that the training objective does not mate with the social demand closely; the systematicness is lacking in the curriculum arrangement, practical ability should be improved and graduates has higher expectations for employment. Then, taking into account of the subject characteristics of music education and training, the employment issues of music education graduates are discussed further combining the establishment of teaching system with the employment direction and combining the employment of music education graduates with the training objective, curriculum arrangement and career guidance in the paper. Finally the corresponding countermeasures are made, which may afford the reference and the lessons for educators and students in music education field.
