Chinsese College Students' Views On Marriagendrelationship And Studies On Educational Countermeasures

studying Chinese college students' views on marriage and relationship has practical meanings to guide their views towards a healthy and beneficial direction, and to provide basis for cultivating Chinese college students with complete mental capacity.In 2005, Ministry of Education promulgated newly revised Regulations on Administration of Students in Regular Higher Education Institutions and Provisions on the Administration of Students in Regular Institutions of Higher Education, in which some mandatory regulations involving students' marriages and relationships have been removed, such as "Students who got married without notifying his school, nor applying for withdraw from schooling will withdraw from schooling". The newly revised regulations and provisions have loosened the restrictions on dating and marriage for college students. The author of this thesis made a comprehensive survey on the unhealthy and unreasonable phenomena related to relationships and marriage of college students in recent years, and then held the opinion that the marriage-and-relationship-related problems were really imperative and deserves special attentions. Under such circumstance, through a series of surveys and questionnaires, the author presented facts and analyzed reasons underneath them. As there is no agreed standard on views on marriage and relationship among Chinese college students, the author stated countermeasures to solve problems accordingly. The purpose of this thesis is to provide referential basis for ideological and political education in regular institutions of higher education in China.
