In the new round of curriculum and teaching reform, "dynamically generated concept as an important teaching was written in "Curriculum Standards", advocating the school teachers actively teaching in a specific application., requiring teachers to understand the complexity of teaching and learning environment, emphasis on the dynamic generation of the teaching process.The changes in teaching from premeditated teaching to generative teaching is a course which begin from the teaching practice which have problems to solve, and end in the application of the theory under the guidance of practiceThe analysis of development of class teaching, which is the historical background, is the beginning to start the study of a generative teaching. The phenomenon of current geography teaching is appears unreasonable. From the perspective of class teaching history and teaching practice of the geography this study illuminate that the generative geography teaching is the inevitable trend of development is the main form of geography teaching in future. The researcher described the theoretical basis of generative teaching in three aspects----the theory of knowledge, learning theory and epistemology. Then summed up that to practice the generative geography teaching must pay attention to the meaning of the teaching, effect of the student's learning, open to all the student, creativity of the class, life of the students and so on.In this study, the study technique is action research. The teacher uses the technique to explore how to practice the theory of generative teaching in class to resolve the current unsatisfactory in geography teaching. Then the teacher show how to do in instructional design,teaching process of classroom,practice and evaluation of classroom teaching and so on to achieve the realization of generative teaching, achieve the purpose and requirements of generative teaching. The possible difficulties and the proposed solution are detailed discussed in this study. There are some vivid examples for reference. This study accumulates practical information of the generative geography teaching, to provide reference for future theoretical research.As the generative geography teaching is still a new thing, from theory research to teaching practice there are some remarkable room for us to study, to complete. On the current situation of education in China, it is hard to achieve complete formation of generative geography teaching. There are so many obstacles which is come from social, school and the teachers themselves need to overcome. There is still a long way to go, not overnight.Two years has passed, base on the theory and practice of generative geography teaching, researcher propose that the generative geography teaching's formation is based on sound science and practice, and it is feasible in teaching practice. But it is more difficult to achieve the generative geography teaching as a teaching routine at this stage. However, generative geography teaching is the inevitable development of geography teaching direction. Difficulties and obstacles can't stop the tide of historical development.
