Study On Construction Of The Counselor Group In Independent Institute

Independent Institute as a product of the higher education reform and innovation, it is a useful exploration and important complement of mechanism and mode of higher education under the new situation. Through conducting a questionnaire survey to eight teams of counselors of Independent Institute in Hunan Province, we found that the conditions and main problems of the counselor groups' construction in Independent Colleges:1.The management characteristic is not obvious; 2.The personnel system is imperfect; 3.The management experiences is not rich; 4.The work pressure is too large.In view of current problems of the counselor group construction in Independent Institute, how to build a high-quality, strong ability of professional counselors for upgrading the educational level of the Independent Institute has a positive and important role of theoretical guidance and practical significance. It is also important to further strengthen and improve ideological and political education of university students and to train qualified personnel for socialist construction. Therefore, we should take positive and effective measures to earnestly strengthen Instructors of the counselor groups:Firstly, to guide scientifically the role of collegiate counselors; Secondly, to improve gradually the ability of the counselor groups; Thirdly, to promote vigorously the professionalism of the building of counselors; Fourthly, to establish a long-term mechanism of the building of counselor groups.
