Small Group Teaching Model In The Sports Courtyard Department Teaching Of Dancesport Pu Applied Research

As the devoloping of the quality education in China, DanceSport comes to step into the education system. Many of universities are running the DanceSport course. Whereas, DanceSport teaching still follows the timeworn traditional teaching theories and methods due to its late rising. Teachers hold the dominant positon during the taching procedure, which causes the students to simply imitate them. This may result in the ignorance of the cultivation of individual capabilities. Therefore, constructing a new teaching pattern based on the modern education theory plays a significant role in the devoloping of DanceSport course in universities.This thesis attempts to prove the feasibility of DanceSport teaching in the small group pattern in the Sports Courtyard Department by the teaching experiment of dividing the four classes of Pu education majors into two annulus. It applies such study methods as literature reseach, expert interview,quetionnaire and teaching experimentation. By collecting and analysing the statistics of the index variation on study interest, classmates relationship, study motivation and self-confidence before and after the experiments, the thesis draws the conclusion as follows: 1. Teaching in the small group pattern fits the features of individual psychology development. By the cooperative study method in small group, students' study interests can be highly aroused. The pattern greatly contributes to the cultivation of intergrated personnel adapting to the social development, which answers to the requirerment of the quality education. 2. Teaching in the small group pattern improves the communication and understanding among studens which helps them to create a friendly sdudy atmosphere to enhance their motivations of study. 3. Teaching in the small group pattern betters the interaction between teacher and students by the cooperative study method, which greatly increases the participation awareness and self-confidence of students. Through the active study on their own initiatives, students master the DanceSport skills more quickly and easily. 4. Teaching in the small group pattern especially focuses on the students' capabilities of self-cognition and self-cultivation in the teaching procedure. It not only teaches students the DanceSport skills, but also pays much attention to the self-expression of students, the class organization, the action arragement and demonstration, which make for the improvement of teaching capabilities of all the students.
