The high school students are facing the first transition of their life. Making a choice between going to have a further study or stepping into the society will affect the development of their whole life. So professional guidance is of significance for a person's lifetime development.It has been about twenty years since the high school students'vocation guidance begin to develop in China. But the scale and validity is not improved enough. Why the implement of vocation guidance among the senior high schools is difficult? As for this problem, we hope to find the real reasons through the practice research made in the Cheng du area for the normal high school.This thesis can be divided into four parts when the writer discusses this matter.The first part introduces the origin of the research and gives a detailed explanation of its conception and it also had a general introduction towards the present situation of the research at home and abroad. Then the aim of the research, concerning the reasons why it is that hard to develop the high school professional guidance, is explained. Furthermore, it shows the main content of the research about presenting the current situation of high school profession guidance. Moreover, it made us have a deep thinking about the essence and function of education to analyze the deep reasons. Through this way, we can put award some beneficial suggestions for the development of the high school professional guidance and explain the significance of its reality and theory in detail. At last, it introduces the means of this research briefly.The second part mainly describes the demonstration section of our research at length, presenting the interview record and the analysis of data based on the questionnaires. The third part is based on previous surveys and studies, and summarized the reason of the difficulties to carry out vocation guidance in high school. It makes a further reflection again to carry out hard and finds out the substantial reasons.The fourth part is suggestions on the implementation of high school vocation guidance. This study is empirical research that guiding practice is one of its significances. In the last part, according to previous research and findings, the author put forward the targeted recommendations of the future practical work to improve this study and realize its practical significance.
