Educational technology as productivity,high ground,and breakthrough of higher education reform is a powerful driving force for higher education reform.The educational technology plays a key role in higher education which is dependent on higher education faculty,so education technology training of higher education faculty has great significance.The training effect of education technology training of higher education faculty is related to the quality of teaching in higher education and is related to the quality of cultivation of higher talented person,and is related to the scientific and technological progress of human society.Two thousand National Higher Education Departments have issued the notification on education technology training of higher education faculty and many provinces started to carry out the work of education technology training of higher education faculty.In recent years the nation and provinces have invested a great deal of manpower,material and financial resources to support the education technology training of higher education faculty and we found that although education technology training seems vigorous yet it is piontless and the training effect is not satisfying.After the training higher education faculty would not use eduational technology to instruct pratice.It seems that the training only brings a certificate.Therefore,the effect of education technology training of higher education faculty is not remarkable and to improve the effect of education technology training of higher education faculty is urgently needed.This paper attempts to use empirical research methods to clarify the reason that the effect of education technology training of higher education faculty is not remarkable and propose solutions in order to help to improve training effect.This paper proposed the initial model of educational technology training of higher education faculty based on literature research,field surveys,interviews and understanding the characteristics of higher education faculty.Then prepared on this basis and draw on and develop(drawing on a questionnaire of others) a survey of questionnaire for education technology training of higher education faculty.Then modify and evaluate the questionnaire.Then regard higher education faculty in Shandong Province as the research object and extract 720 subjects which participate in education technology training of higher education faculty from Shandong Province. Then conducted a survey among these subjects using the evaluation questionnaire.Then using SPSS and structural equation modeling to analyze the survey data and modified the initial model and put forward a final model.Finally the conclusion of the reseach were explained and comments and suggestions for improving training were proposed on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of higher education faculty. It is expected to improve the educational technology training and give help and inspiration to improving the effect of education technology training.
