Design And Realization Of Elementary School Crisis Management Platform

With the rapid development of modern society, the ensuing crisis is emerging. School, as the public organizations, is also deeply troubled by crisis. How to face the crisis, to diagnose source of the crisis,to eliminate the crisis, or even to turn a "danger" into a new "opportunity",the best solution should be established a set of scientific, effective crisis management system within the school.The current government and the educator have started paying attention to build crisis management system in school, which focus on advancing the physical dimensions of the system (hardware, ancillary equipment), such as school buildings safety. However, the underlying causes in the crisis and the coordination between the various organizations in crisis management has been ignored, which make the school crisis management system can not full play its unique advantages to improve school crisis response capacity, and to promote communication and coordination within and outside the school.With the guidance of the crisis management theory, the study focus on a specific crisis events, "the H1N1 flu,"based on the Shanghai Changning Experimental Primary School case study, relying on the existing school site of Changning Experimental Primary School, built a crisis management platform of H1N1 flu prevention and control in the primary school, which make crisis management truly help the principals, policy makers, students and their parents, become a important part of learning and life in school, and ultimately build a informational, comprehensive and normalized school crisis management.Windows 2003 Advanced Server+â…¡S 6.0+ASP.NET+Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is involved in this study. With determining the needs and the operating environment of Changning Experimental Primary School, Database Design has been defined in Microsoft SQL Server 2000, the transfer and sharing of data between different users has been achieved, and ultimately build a crisis management platform of H1N1 flu prevention and control in Changning Experimental Primary School. With advancing the information construction and filling the gaps without crisis management platform in Changning Experimental Primary School, the crisis management platform effectively promote the communication inside and outside the school, achieve the dynamic crisis management and real-time monitoring, and further more, will improves the capabilities of crisis management in primary school.
