P.E. learning evaluation is an indispensable part of the new round of P.E. and health curriculum reform. The Guideline for Basic Education Reform (Trial Version) has clearly stated that the content, method and subject of learning evaluation should be reformed and a multifaceted evaluation system needs to be established, making the student-participated learning evaluation accessible. This study focused mainly on how to effectively promote the student-participated learning evaluation and their status as the subject of the evaluation so as to help strengthen the learning process. The background, significance, current situation and tendency of student participated P.E. learning evaluation were comprehensively reviewed in the first place. On the basis of the review, a detailed program of student-participated learning evaluation was proposed after a one-month pre-experiment with reference to the Classroom Assessment Project Cycle by Thomas A. Angelo and K. Patricia Cross, followed by a thirteen-week teaching experiment conducted with 73 female students of senior high class 1-4 in Yanji Middle School, Shanghai. Two students from the experiment class were selected for case study that lasted for nine weeks. Following conclusions of this study were drawn through experiment and case study:(1) Conducting student-participated learning evaluation program in the teaching of physical education in senior high middle school had a significant impact on the students' affective performance and cooperative spirit, spontaneous interest, participation of learning as well as promoting female students' learning attitude. However, little significant effect of the program on P.E.-related explorative behavior and attention-paying behavior was shown. The program had no effect on improving P.E. healthy behavior.(2) Conducting student-participated learning evaluation program in the teaching of physical education in senior high middle school resulted in a better mastery of motor skills in female students by facilitating their understanding of motor skills.(3) Conducting student-participated learning evaluation program in the teaching of physical education in senior high middle school led to a better self-evaluation and mutual-evaluation ability in both gender, Student-participated learning evaluation program had a significant impact on improving female students' evaluating ability.
