Research On Spiritual Poverty Of Adult Education Students In Colleges And Educational Countermeasures

With the college enrollment increasing, the number of the university students has gradually expanded. Adult education college students are part of them. Due to various factors, Adult education college students are in spiritual poverty. It should attract the widespread attention of the university and community.Based on teacher interviews and literature search, I submit the theoretical assumption that the adult education college students are in spiritual poverty. The performance characteristics of group shows such as distorted value, self-perception bias, great mental pressure, tense interpersonal relationship, single lifestyle, lazy habits, barren spirit, etc.In order to verify the theoretical assumptions, I built an eight dimensions indicator system which is based on the classification of performance characteristics. According to the indicator system, I designed the inventory for questionnaire survey. And I confirmed the basic content of the theoretical assumptions by horizontal comparison between adult education students and general education students.From the vertical research, the origin of the spiritual poverty of adult education college students is due to the "alienation" of the enrollment of adult education college students, the "alienation" of the concept of adult education, the confusion of the education mode, etc. From the horizontal research, the real cause of the spiritual poverty of adult education college students is due to social discrimination, serious employment situation, the neglect of school education management, and the self complicated factors.By the macroscopical support of three main aspects of the adult education college students self, the school management and education and community, Set up a comprehensive education system for adult education college students to get rid of the spiritual poverty.
