The National Excellent Teacher forum held on August 31,2007,President Hu Jintao said at the forum:"the teachers should be an active part in educational innovation in practice,and actively explore the laws of education and teaching,updating educational ideas,reform of teaching content, methods,means to encourage students to creative thinking."These words indicate the direction of reform for the universities.Colleges and universities are the main positions to cultivate and convey talents for the community, the students will go out of the campus, towards the society from here, and end their school life. At this stage, the school sports Teaching Quality will directly affect the quality of teaching them to master the scientific training methods and knowledge, and seriously affect their life-long physical thought.As a relatively strong professional schools, the special nature of the performance of the medical college for the following areas: medical schools in training the personnel should have a strong physique, a solid knowledge of sports health and fitness knowledge and they can correctly guide the patient and general populations rehabilitation training, that they can give the right prescription for the movement. People know well about other colleges and universities, and reached broad consensus about physical education more in-depth study of the situation; but for physical education of the medical schools, people know that very little, even one of its research is still relatively small, some research is still in its early stages. At present, there is no any research about physical education studies of medical schools in Henan Province.The physical education of medical schools in Henan Province has no much difference contrast ordinary institutions. The characteristics of medical schools physical education should be: a combination of sports and medicine.After in-depth investigation and study the authors found that there are some problems about medical schools in Henan Province in teaching physical education objectives, teaching content, teaching models, physical status of the teaching process and the relationship between teachers and students, setting course content, examine and evaluate aspects of physical education. Therefore, this article by medical schools of Henan Province physical education research, identify problems, analyze causes, and then propose solutions to the problem, this paper has important theoretical and practical significance.The physical education problems of medical schools in Henan Province are as follows: the physical education did not reflect the characteristics of medical colleges should be, it doesn't recognize the role of physical education, and the teaching content and teaching methods are not well adapted to the needs of educational reform and development, not a good combination of the sports and medical thinking, life-long physical ideas. Meanwhile, the knowledge that the students have learned and the knowledge the future needs has a large gap, in the teaching process, Professor of theoretical knowledge of sports is relatively small, mixed age sports curriculum, students pairs of interest in physical exercise are not well nurtured, the traditional teaching mode is still dominant. In the teaching process, teachers have been the dominant one-sided emphasis, students reflect the subjectivity of inadequate attention to a unified paying no attention to the diversity of the physical education assessment unreasonable, and the test scores can not reflect the true effect of physical training of students, and it is not an effective evaluation about if students are progressive.Above-mentioned problems due to the following aspects: the lack of medical knowledge of physical education teacher, there is no uniform curriculum, the teaching methods are not flexible and did not fully mobilize the interest of students, the purpose of physical education assessment is not clear.The following are Physical Education Reform and Development Strategies: the physical education teachers in medical schools should be used to broaden the knowledge of various favorable conditions and take the combination of physical education physical medicine path. They can use a variety of teaching methods.And teaching a conditional option can be used in schools, improve the physical education assessment methods and so on.
