Non-profitable organizations started late, however, are rising fast in China compared to developed countries. Nowadays, there are 3 types of non-profitable organizations which are social committees or associations, private non enterprise units and foundations. And private colleges, one type of private non enterprise units, have been playing an important role in the education system in china. However, the competition can be severe because of the fact that public colleges have decided to recruit more students yearly to suit the market demand and also the fact that plenty of new entrants (e.g. foreign private colleges) have entered and gained some market shares in China. Therefore, special and well-suited evaluation, compensation and motivation system should be created and employed to attract more and more competent and reputational professors and educators who may bring in benefits to private colleges and thus be very critical supplements for their long-term development. In this report, research methodology is used and some related examples from western countries are borrowed and analyzed to illustrate and generalize an effective system about how to motivate educators. In addition, some educators from private colleges in China are targeted for research purpose. And practical work, such as questionnaires and interviews are conducted against those targeted subjects in order to fully understand the characteristics and organizational culture of private colleges. By conducting the diverse study of the working environment, compensation and pay system, and different educators'needs regarding different educators'age, personalities and psychologies, a comprehensive motivation system and practices have been developed to help private colleges continuously gain benefits and thus maintain competitive in education industry.
