The Study On Harmonious University Campus Building In The West Area

The Sixth Plenary Session of the sixteenth Central Committee of CPC made "the decision of many major issues about building a socialist harmonious society.' The society is made of many parts, and the social harmony can be achieved as long as each part is in concord. Colleges have been taking on the responsibility of training talents, spreading knowledge, and serving society during this course. It provides the spiritual motivation and talents'support for the building of the harmonious society. To play the active role to build a harmonious society, colleges, as an important part of the society, have to make efforts to build the harmonious campus.With the development of college education popularized, the college' harmonious development has been hindered by the limitation of the natural, climate conditions, lack of education budget and undeveloped economy. In writing, based on the research results of the harmonious campus building after visiting many colleges in Gansu province, the author collects many files and documents so as to be familiar with the basic condition of western colleges. In writing, this paper elaborates on the main content of building harmonious campus and its significance by combining the basic features of building communist harmonious society according to the fundamental tenets of Marxism.This paper analyzes some problems and difficulties to build the harmonious campus. It points out that, to building of harmonious campus of the west, we should comprehensively implement the spirit of the Sixteenth Party Congress with help of the scientific concept of development, and grasp the development's significance to have a firm foundation; Good quality of teaching and studying should be trained; Expanding money input would provide the material guarantee for harmonious campus; Greater efforts should be made for the construction of the team faculty to promote teachers'role; Poor students'financial support, mental health, and students' employment should be stressed; The cultural construction should be emphasized to provide the strong spiritual support for harmonious campus; More attention should be paid to the security in order to have a safe college environment and its neighborhood. By building the harmonious campus, it contributes to the smooth implementation of the great western development so as to train more high-quality talents for national rapid and health development economically.
