Research On Cultiviating The Sense Of Social Responsibility In Contemporary University Students Of China

College students as builders and successors to the socialist cause are the country's precious human resources. The strength of their social responsibility and the bearing of social responsibility play a direct part on the success or failure of China's socialist cause, and also the great rejuvenation of the China. In recent years, with the significant changes of economic structure, benefits distribution and lifestyle, college students' group character, mental outlook, ideas, values, sense of responsibility, behavioral habits also have a greater change both in forms and in contents comparing to that of any previous era. Making a comprehensive and scientific analysis, based on the characteristics of the times and students'actual conditions, on the cultivation of college students'social responsibility, and exploring ways to foster their social responsibility from the view of cultivating socialist builders and the highly qualified successors, are of far reaching importance to satisfy the general requirements of the socialist modernization drive, and to achieve national personnel training strategy for the new era.In this paper, many methods were used to study cultivation of social responsibility of contemporary Chinese college students, such as, literature research method, logical analysis, questionnaire survey, interviewing, and data analysis. The authors combined existing research results have already made systematic and comprehensive definitions of the concepts of responsibility, sense of responsibility and social responsibility of the college students and done a much more comprehensive in-depth study on theoretical basis and formation process of college students'social responsibility. Based on the questionnaire results, and domestic and foreign-related theory, the author analyzed the contemporary status of Chinese college students'social responsibility and the causes of the weakening; raised implementation strategies and methods on how to cultivate social responsibility of contemporary college students contrapuntally.
