In recent years the form of teacher training based upon internet technology is called on-line teacher training, which effectively overcomes the contradiction between career and learning and consequently becomes one of the principal modes of teacher training. However, the presumed characteristics of the natural separations between teaching and learning, or between teaching and evaluating, have brought a few phenomena such as low efficiency, loss of efficiency or fake efficiency into existence, which do the reduction to the actual value of teacher training. In fact, teacher training is the right and obligation of teachers as well as the significant guaranteeing to the proper achievements of quality education. To promote the specialty level through teacher training is not only the requirement included in Teachers'Law, but also result of constant demand from the society for better and better educational achievements. The research of the effectiveness of online teacher training is important to educational fulfillment.This thesis mainly applies the method of evidence study. The author is a principal of a primary school and is in charge of the online teacher training at the school. As well, the author is a participant to the training, who is consequently familiar with the realistic conditions of online teacher training. I applied the study of behaviorism through everyday's participation, observation and realization, and accumulated a huge number of facts, cases and files, etc. To avoid the limit of personal viewpoint, I made efforts to make the study more concrete and more comprehensive in giving supports. The methods of written questionnaires, interviews and consultations are used as repeated survey ways. As in the case of teacher training in one of the central areas of Y District, I used wider page written questionnaire tests and then accumulated 184 effective test papers in relation to 90.6% of the teachers and leaders of five schools of the central area, and held 3 forums and 10 interviews with school leaders and teachers of all kinds of backgrounds, mainly to expect the mutual confirmation of material sources and study methods, in order to promote the credibility and effectiveness of the research. Additionally, the study on documents and policies is carried on as well to seek theoretical support.The thesis relates the realistic conditions of primary school teachers'participation to online teacher training and indicates the phenomenon of low effectiveness in online teacher training, with an analysis on the causes and reasons that contribute to the phenomenon. The analytic effort is from six dimensions such as teacher online training policy, on-line training curriculum and resource, online training study and evaluation methods, training management and technological service and the inner drive of teacher learning, etc, dedicated to investigate the formalist inclination and its causes. The thesis also actively put forward a series of suggestions on the improvement of online teacher training, which means to devise a dynamic mechanism that is closely co-operated between the outside and the inner of the teachers'minds, and is unified between stimulation method and control method, and to put it into function in teacher training process giving full range of effects such as value guidance and regulation in respective dimensions like stimulation, behavior, restriction and evaluation, hence in order to form a new training mechanism of the subjective participation and liberate selection of teachers and the fitting of courses to individual developments. This can be the principal cure to make teacher training new again, with the call for the action of trainers and trainees, and the stimulation to the training process. The highlight of this article is that the author puts forward a set of methods for rectifying effectiveness of online teacher training from a specific research perspective. A series of methods such as preparation of matching policies, adjustment of background management, modification of course designing, improvement of self-quality of teachers and establishment of online learning community will be beneficial to effectiveness improvement of teacher training.
