The Research Of The Main Body Host Private Universities In China

At the end of 2008, there were 640 private colleges, including 318 private colleges set independently. Among the 640 colleges, there are 369 schools which provide the undergraduate academic education, of which 44 colleges are private. Since 2000 years, the number of private universities has improved to 44 as a staggering speed, private undergraduate education has become a general undergraduate education. The phenomenon of private universities is caused by higher education environment and their own active role in the development of universities. However, compared to the rapid development momentum, few scholars give more attention to private regular colleges. Private regular colleges are in a critical transition period at present, whose main bodies are playing an gradually important role who have decision-making authority and contribution obligation to the development of colleges. This paper aims to attract more researchers to pay attention to this emerging group, by organizing the main institutions of the main body in private regular collages.Despite of the startling development momentum, compared with the public colleges having a long history, private regular colleges can't shake the strong position of the public colleges, because of started late, weak foundation, the lack of undergraduate educational experience. However, this college is not only a result of the development of higher education, but also a means to promote the development of higher education. Although the owner of this college is absence, the organizers obtain the qualifications of directors by transferring ownership of the assets. The organizers enjoy the school ownership in disguised form by grasp the decision-making power. Therefore, in the competitive environment, it is the key for the private regular colleges that the main body how to develop the school development plans, improve the institutional environment.This paper has sorted the organizers of the private regular colleges, on the base of the development process of the past 20 years, using the research theory about the main body organizing the non-profit organizations. During this paper, the author has analyzed the organizer in the basic characteristics, behavioral characteristics. On this basis, the development law of the community has been summarized, such as the organizer synchronized with the policy changes, and separated with the operators formally. Finally, the paper says that the organizers'passive has still restricted the development of the private regular colleges, such as lack of confidence, the unclear location of the college, retaining the power. Combing the transformation of the colleges, the organizers should transform the role in the colleges to adapt to the transformation of the colleges, and then promote the colleges to access the power sustaining the continued development in the transformation period,.
