Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is one of the last provinces where the New Curriculum Standards are implemented fully and the education reform is still in the period of exploratory. Owing to educational resources of Erdos which is a rapidly developing city in the west of Inner Mongolia is behindhand correspondingly; it is difficult to carry out Quality Education New Curriculum Standards. So we must give teachers higher requirements.High school curriculum reform is the trend. we must follow this trend as teachers walking in the forefront of the times. Teachers are the executor of the new curriculum, which require each teacher to fully understand the standards and grasp framework of new teaching material, and have comprehensive understanding of senior high school curriculum. Based on these, we must understand "high school chemistry new curriculum" profoundly as chemistry teachers, study the "high school chemistry curriculum standards" seriously and research the difference between the current framework and new framework to adapt to the "New Curriculum high school chemistry" and change the existing teaching thinking mode.Erdos city has its special economic and cultural background; Based on this reason we investigate from two sides. One is the education actuality of senior high school chemistry in Erdos before executing new Curriculum Standard. The other is about the cognition condition of chemical teachers and students with the new curriculum reform. In order to find out the actual condition, select teaching materials suitable for local conditions and adopt appropriate teaching project, we progressed a series of researches by referring to literature, seeing about on the spot, papers questions and answers and discussion for the development of local education. After the characters of three kinds of textbook—Renjiao Editor, Sujiao Editor and Lujiao Editor—are analysed, Thinking of the actual situation of Erdos city and the requirement of examing for student going to a university/college, selections of chemistry modules and textbooks are studied for this region systematically on the implementation of new curriculum in senior high school. The results show that the excellent textbooks are"Chemistry I"and"Chemistry II"and that best choice on chemistry modules for local students is"The chemistry and the life"and that"The basis of organic chemistry"is a required course for science students.
