With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the establishment of the socialist market economy, ethnic floating population in rural and pastoral areas flow into cities and towns one after another, ethnic floating population in cities and towns are getting more and more. Because of the differences of living environment and cultural background, the problem of ethnic floating population adapting to the cities and towns are gradually prominent, and have always faced problems of ethnic floating population from entering into cities and towns to the final integration into the cities and towns.In this thesis, based on the case of Tianshan Town, Arkhorqin banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, to understand the status quo of Mongolian floating population and preliminary summarized their urban adaptation. At the same time, according to this case , to proposed some countermeasures,suggestions. The full-text is composed of introduction, body, conclusion, references and appendices. .In Introduction, to clarify the research purpose and significance, research status , research methods, key concepts defined and so on .The body is composed by three chapters:Chapter 1: Mainly introducing Tianshan town and Mongolian floating population . which are described and discussed by two aspects of the status quo and the flowing reason. .Chapter 2: To analyze the Mongolian floating people adapting to cities and towns, mainly from three aspects to talk about the status of present Mongolian floating population adapting to cities and towns: life, economy and psychology .Chapter 3: For the preceding analysis, pointed out influencing factors of the adaptation of Mongolian floating population.and preliminary proposed some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the adaptation of Mongolian floating population.
