Historical material analysis question is a kind of large-scale subjective questions. It provides students with one material or a group of materials, requiring students to correctly understand the materials, and then identify the relevant historical facts ;or analysis the meaning of the relevant historical events or the reasons why they happened of the materials combined with the background of the materials; or support or disprove a certain point of view via picking up and integrating information; or prove history problems by using methods of judging, comparing, inducting. It is one of the most effective type of question to test students'thinking ability, and it is also very useful of cultivating students'creative awareness. So it becomes the main kinds of questions among large-scale selective examinations.Introductive introduces the background and significance in theory and practice of the research, illustrates the method and direction of the research. Text mainly divided into five parts .The section which is about the summary of material analysis question introduces the basic structure, and the main types of material analysis question. This work lays the foundation for the whole study. The second part makes detailed analysis about abilities of remembering, using, obtaining, reading, describing, explaining, proving, arguing, thinking and designing. The third part tells that the writer finds several problems which now existed in the process of creating material analysis question with the method of picking up examples from the history papers since the year 2005 . And then, the writer put forward 7 kinds of technology of adjusting material analysis question from changing the spirit of the material analysis question, to adjusting the material, and to turning the questions , etc with a lot of examples to illustrate. The fourth part talks about the principles of creating material analysis question from 5 points which are spirit, materials, questions, reference answers, and standard of scoring and 13 aspects. A lot of original material analysis questions have been created by the writer to make powerfully illustrations for the principles of creating material analysis question. The last part of this paper illustrates the innovations which maybe come out and the plans about deep reaserch.
