The pursuit of integration has become a national trend of teacher education. In vertical dimension, the development of the so-called "integration" includes three stages which are pre-service training, induction training, in-service training. In landscape orientation, all stages need further development. Teaching practice is not only a pre-service training stage for normal students to deepen the theoretical knowledge, but also is an important way to test subject theoretical knowledge and educational theory. Ability can be tested,so can the teaching ability of normal students during the practice term. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to do questionnaire survey and depth interview to discuss the development of teaching ability during the teaching practice.In the teaching practice period, how does teaching ability of the student teachers develop? What factors lead to such a development? How do normal students themselves look at these factors? And what kind of help do they need from supervising teacher to develop their teaching ability? This article aims to explore such matters.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction which focuses on the research background, purpose and significance, and the definitions of related concepts.The second part is about the design and implementation of the research which focuses on introducing the main research methods, reseach tools, reseach object and statistical tools.The third part is about the analysis of survey data and discussion. Firstly, it analyzes the reliability and the validity of the research. Then, it analyzes the development of teaching ability of student teachers during the teaching practice, the relation between teaching ability and demographic variables and the views of normal students on the impact of capacity development. Then, it analyzes what kind of help student teachers need from supervising teacher and how long they suggest the practice last. Finally, it discusses the research results and the depth interview data.The fourth part is mainly about conclusions and suggestions.
