In our elementary education area, the collective teaching method has been in the mainstream position of the form of the classroom teaching organization since a long time ago , which results in the passive learning, low initiative of the students and low effect of the classroom teaching. After the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the cooperative learning as an important form of teaching organization to change the students' learning way started to draw much attention. However, the phenomena of formal cooperative learning appeared as well.The research and implementation of cooperative learning in America has a long history. The implementation of cooperative learning has proved, the effect that the cooperative learning can improve the students' studies largely, improve the social psychological atmosphere in the classroom and imorove the classroom teaching method is obvious. Furthermore, about 79% of the American elementary school teachers and 62% of the middle school teachers often use cooperative learning method.Therefore, this article tries to analyse the organization and implementation of cooperative learning in America through some case analysis to explore the influence factors of the effective implementation of cooperative learning so that we can provide some advice on the effective utilization of the cooperative learning in our country.The paper is divided into five parts, the first part is the preface, mainly involving the question putting forward of this article and the value of this article and research methods, etc. The body is made up of four parts.The first part mainly discusses the theoretical and practical research of American scholars about the cooperative learning .The second part is the main part of this article.It focuses on the organization and implementation of cooperative learning in American primary and middle classrooms from five aspects - the implementation process and background, the current situation, the external security conditions ,the internal key factors and the case analysis of the organization and implementation of cooperative learning .The third part evaluates the organization and implementation of cooperative learning, summarizes the characteristics of the organization and implementation in America.According to the preceding analysis , the fourth part puts forward the enlightening guidance of the effective utilization of cooperative learning in our country on the basis of the description of the current situation of cooperative learning.
