This paper is a study of culture in students'inter-class activities. In this paper, the Culture is a way of life made up by unique behavioral norms and values of one of the students or a certain groups of student. Then, the writer, taking a rural primary school as a case, the inter-class activities as an point cut,the researcher herself/himself as a research tool, adopting the qualitative way of studying to penetrate deeply into the actual situation, describes and analyzes behavioral norms and values in students'inter-class activities.Four parts can be seen in this paper:Part I, Introduction. The writer illustrated four aspects, purpose of the study, basic concepts, the status quo of this research, progress of the study. The writer pointed out that inter-class means the interval between two classes, inter-class activities is the activities of body and mind that students done in inter-class hours, student culture is the combination of the unique behavioral norms and values formed in daily life. The writer tries to probe into student culture in way of inter-class activities.Part II, township profile and image of the school. In this part, the writer shows an overview of S elementary school and its location, and analysis its foundation for inter-class activities from the aspects of material, institutional, and cultural conditions.Part III, performance and interpretation of inter-class activities. In this section, inter-class activities of students in S elementary school, such as setting-up exercises during the break, free activities and so on, have been discussed. These specific problems are gradually formed and cleared during my studying process.Part IV, understanding and building of student culture. The writer tries to formulate connotation of student culture and mainstream culture and their relations; analysis the impact of student culture to inter-class activities; pointed out the the three factors affecting the formation of student culture: class culture, teacher culture, curriculum culture, family culture and so on; and analyze the way of building student culture from material, institutional and spiritual aspects.
